Welcome to the Community Church

Hello folks,

Here, you can find out more about our church on this site.

Due to coronavirus restrictions we are not meeting on Sundays at the church building, but a Sunday message and prayers are streamed on our open Facebook site here.  Other online or socially distanced events are also taking place. See also the Weekly Newsletter page where we have the electronic CtK Connect newsletter.

However, the church building is open on Sundays from 9.30-11.30am for private prayer.

If you're interested in finding out more about the Christian faith or looking for a vibrant, loving fellowship, then you can be assured of a warm welcome at the Community Church that meets at Christ the King.

Our church is a caring, prayerful and loving community, catering for people of all types of church experiences and backgrounds or people who want to try a church for the first time..

We have people who have previously come from Anglican, Baptist, Methodist, United Reformed, Evangelical and many other churches. Others have come to know Jesus Christ right here. We welcome anyone from any church background or tradition to join us in worship or at any of our home groups.

Rev Ruth Gookey is our Minister with prime responsibility for Christ the King Community Church, but she can also be found at the other Churches in the Walton Churches Partnership

There are more details on the pages of this website. Please make yourself known to a welcomer when you get into church and leave your details in our visitors book at the back of church.

We have an information leaflet which gives more information about the Community Church. Click on 'Resources' to download the leaflet.
